The Laurens Raiders Boys Basketball Program will host a Skills Clinic for boys and girls in grades 6–8 on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 PM at the Laurens District 55 High School main gym.

Laurens District 55 High School's (LDHS) Student Council will sponsor the annual Homecoming Parade on Monday, September 8, at 6:30 p.m. to kick off the week's Homecoming celebration. This year's parade theme, 'Home Sweet Homecoming,' will feature class floats decorated to resemble movies that relate to family, finding a home, or finding a way home. This event will also feature the LDHS homecoming court, as well as floats depicting a range of clubs and sports represented at LDHS.
