Hey, Laurens 55 family! Just a quick heads-up to help you plan your day. We have an Early Dismissal scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Students will be heading home 2.5 hours earlier than their usual time. Don't worry—we'll make sure everyone has a delicious lunch before they hop on the bus!
Parents & guardians who signed up for childcare will receive a notification this afternoon confirming their child/children's slot(s).
Why the early release?
This time is a vital part of our journey in Building a 5-Star Culture of Excellence 2.0! While our students are enjoying some extra time at home, our dedicated educators will be hard at work in Professional Development sessions.
We are committed to continuous growth, and these sessions allow our teachers to collaborate on innovative teaching strategies and bring even more excellence back into the classroom for your children!
