Dear LCSD 55 Family,

Our district is undergoing administrative changes following the resignation of Dr. Ameca C. Thomas as Laurens County School District 55 Superintendent. This change will not affect the district initiatives that Dr. Thomas has put in place to positively impact our students. Our district will continue to prioritize high-quality instruction, safety & facilities, staff development, family & community engagement, and fiscal responsibility.

As the interim superintendents, we want to assure you that our doors are open to hear any concerns you may have regarding the change in leadership. Our goal is to provide stability and support for on-going progress in our district.
