Laurens Education Assistance for District No. 55 (LEAD)

The LEAD Corporation was organized in 2005 as a nonprofit corporation under the South Carolina Nonprofit Corporation Act and as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501  (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended.  The corporation has a governing body known as the LEAD Board of Directors.  The purpose of the board is to act as issuers and financiers of capital improvements to school district property.
